Hazel
Well, Hazel has been here now for 7 months and is the sweetheart of us all. Her and Niko chase each other around the house. Taking turns as the chaser. When Jack is sitting in his easy chair or in the dining room Hazel must jump into his lap and give kisses. She is known to fall asleep on your chest. Her way of waking you is to jump on your head and digs at the blankets, she uses this tactic also to ask to go outside. Hazel has become 'vocal', giving little groans and whines to get your attention.We use the term 'snugglebug' as that is what she is a cuddly little dog that loves to be picked up and snuggled. She cuddles with us on the bed and lies on her back to sleep, snoring so loudly we get a good laugh from it.
Soooo glad to have her, and she was perfect for our home - we think back many times to how her life could have been lost in that shelter. What a waste of a small, terrific dog it would have been. Thankful that she was rescued, and we were given the chance to be her forever home.
