UPDATE: Hugo's owner called the pound. He is now back home.

This is Hugo . He is an Alaskan Malamute approx 2-3 yr s old. He is a great people dog and is not a runner. He will need a home with no other dogs or cats and would have to err on the side of caution with livestock. He will be available for adoption once he is neutered but in the mean time you can fill out an application on him.

Hi Beth ! This boy is SWEET ! Very friendly, likes hugs and scratches. He likes to be in the same room as I am. He got loose this morning and I was so impressed he stuck around. No one wants those dogs that head for the hills as soon as they see a chance ! He slept all night in my room...never woke me up once which really surprised me ! Never heard him bark till this morning when we went to feed the horses and he barked (non agressively) a few times but then was just curious and went with me to "meet "them ! Did not go near or chase them when he was free. So far I am seeing a fault free dog here !!.........I'd like to have him but don't like the idea of leaving him so much. Kind of a heart break for both of us.........me guilty, him lonely !!! Guess I need two !!!!
