Marjorie Reynolds

Marjorie Reynolds is an absolute sweet heart. She listens to commands and has a very pretty face. She is well-behaved and very smart. Marjorie is approximately 1yearold and about 35 pounds.
Marjorie is a very quiet dog that is well mannered. She has been with us almost a week and we have yet to hear her bark. Marjorie is familiar around with horses and does not chase or bother them. She loves to curl up in the hay for a rest! She is extremely loyal and is not a dog to run away or take off chasing anything. She is also completely house broken.
In our house, she is with 6 other dogs from 3lbs up to 120lbs as well as a 10 week old kitten and a 10 year old cat. She gets along well with all of them. We had not had her near children.
In terms of personality, Marjorie is a quiet, slightly shy dog. She loves to be near people but does not demand attention. She is getting used to being in a house but still does not like the smooth slippery floors, she is getting better each day. Marjorie is not food motivated at all, in fact, we've tried about a dozen different treats and she hasn't found one she will eat. She eats her dinner and breakfast but doesn't seem interested in anything else.
She sat perfectly to have her nails trimmed and for a rescue dog, seems undamaged in all ways. Loud noises don't bother her and she loves car rides! In long term, I think Marjorie would make an excellent companion dog but because of her quiet nature, I think she is a dog that would be easily pushed to the back if she was with other dogs. Since she is not demanding at all, we really make the effort to show her as much attention as the rest of our "Herd". Marjorie doesn't seem interested in toys much and since she isn't food motivated, training must be done with positive reinforcement.
To sum up Marjorie, she's a great dog that would be suited to someone that would have a lot of love and attention to give her. She's active but would like to have quiet time with her people too VS always being on the go. She's also very smart and learns quickly. She gets along great with anything we've introduced her too thus far. She's a sweetheart that deserves a special home were she can become the amazing dog I know she is. A farm home would be ideal as Marjorie is most comfortable in the barn.
